Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship is an international Christian college ministry made up of students from all over the world. Students from all religious backgrounds are welcome. We are sponsored nationally by the Assemblies of God, and supported by many local churches.
we're here to help
University life presents many challenges and opportunities to a student's spiritual life. Chi Alpha is here to help make your time at the university a growing and thriving time, full of friendship and opportunities for service and ministry. There are many different ways to plug into the Chi Alpha community. For most students, the easiest way to meet people and get involved is to come to Tuesday night Chi Alpha. In addition to Chi Alpha, many of our students join small groups. These student-led Bible studies will help you not only learn more about what the Bible says, but will also provide you with practical help as you begin to live out what it says.
We believe that God has big plans for you while you are here at CWU this year. He is interested in every aspect of your life here at school: spiritually, emotionally, relationally... and academically too. If we can help you in any of these or other areas of your life, please give us a call. Any of our staff or student leaders will be happy to get together with you to listen, talk, pray, and help.

This is the statement of faith that Chi Alpha Campus Ministries and the Assemblies of God movement adhere to. This list is condensed from the full description on the A/G website.
• There is only one true God revealed in three persons...Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (often called the Trinity).
• The deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, as God's son Jesus was both human and divine.
• Though originally good, man willingly sinned, bringing evil and death, both physical and spiritual, into the world.
• Every person can have restored fellowship with God through salvation, accepting Christ's offer of forgiveness for sin.
• Our two basic practices: Water baptism by immersion after repenting and receiving Christ's gift of salvation, and Holy communion (the Lord's Supper) as symbolic remembrance of Christ's suffering and death.
• The baptism in the Holy Spirit is a special experience following salvation, that empowers believers for witnessing and effective service, just as it did in New Testament times.
• The initial physical evidence of the baptism in the Holy Spirit as speaking in tongues, as experienced and seen throughout Acts and the Epistles.
• Sanctification initially occurs at salvation and is a declaration that a believer is holy, and also a progressive lifelong process of separating from evil as believers become more Christlike.
• There is a divinely called and scripturally ordained leadership ministry serving the Church. Each of us, under leadership, commit ourselves to reach, build, and edify others for Christ.
• Divine healing of the sick is a privilege for Christians today and is provided for in Christ's atonement, his sacrificial death on the cross for our sins).
• The blessed hopewhen Jesus raptures his Church prior to his return to earth, (the second coming). All believers who have died will rise from the grave and meet the Lord in the air. Christians who are alive will be caught up with them, to be with the Lord forever.
• The millennial reign of Christ, when Jesus returns with His saints at his second coming to begin his benevolent rule on earth for 1,000 yrs. Many in the nation of Israel will recognize and accept him.
• A final judgment will take place for those who have rejected Christ. They will be judged for their sin and consigned to eternal punishment in a punishing lake of fire.
• A new heavens and a new earth that Christ is preparing for all people, of all time, who accept Him. We will live and dwell with Him there forever following His millennial reign on Earth. 'And so shall we forever be with the Lord!'
