We highly recommend an excellent training opportunity, the Student Institute of Campus Ministry (SICM or sic’em). SICM is held in Bellingham, WA by the Chi Alpha ministry at Western. It is a 10 day conference in June after the end of school. In our opinion, SICM is the best learning experience in the country for college students in a campus ministry.
  The training includes in-depth teaching and practical application for prayer, worship, leading Bible studies, and evangelism. It is not for leaders only, but for anyone who attends a campus ministry and desires to be an impact. SICM attracts students from around the country.
 
 

  Our ministry at CWU hosts a national Chi Alpha campus missionary-in-training program, one of a dozen such internships in the country. This leadership mentoring program prepares students with a calling into full-time ministry. The internship requires a college degree and a sense of calling to this mission field.
